Identity & Access Overview

The Identity & Access module brings together user management and enterprise single sign-on (SSO) configurations under one unified interface. The page features two main tabs: Users and Providers. This overview provides a high-level framework of the capabilities offered by each tab; for detailed usage, you can refer to the dedicated guides.

Who is this for?

This module is designed to serve different roles within your organization:

System Administrators manage organization-wide access rules and identity providers, ensuring consistent security policies across all systems.

Team Leaders & Workload Owners can quickly add team members and assign appropriate roles, streamlining the onboarding process for their teams.

Security & Compliance Teams configure SSO providers to align with corporate policies, maintaining security standards and audit requirements.

Users Tab Capabilities

The Users tab offers comprehensive user management features. You can view all users with flexible filtering by role, status, search terms, and sorting options. Create new users, edit existing accounts, activate or deactivate users, and when necessary, delete and restore accounts.

Summary cards display key user statistics including total users, active users, administrators, and recently added members, giving you an at-a-glance view of your user base.

Customize the table view to match your needs by hiding columns, adjusting pagination, or toggling avatar displays. For more detailed information, refer to Users & Roles.

Providers Tab Capabilities

The Providers tab will enable you to view and filter all your organization's identity providers (OIDC, SAML, LDAP) in a single list. Add new providers to allow users to sign in with their existing corporate accounts, eliminating the need for separate credentials.

Monitor provider status, test connections, and track deployment through summary cards. For detailed setup instructions, consult the relevant SSO documentation for your specific provider.
